Cellular Immunity Study Group at LFC!

Hello everyone, I am Kawamitsu, Director of LFC.

Today's in-hospital information is about the study group at LFC.

Roy, a staff member, and I have a weekly study session on physiology and anatomy. Knowledge of the body's immune system is very important, especially with the recent coronas.

As a chiropractor, it is also of utmost importance to inform patients how they become infected with viruses when their immunity is weakened due to physical distortion, and how white blood cells, NK cells, macrophages, etc. can kill the viruses by adjusting the distortion.

It is fascinating to see how leukocytes dynamically work together to kill invaders: while NK cells single-handedly kill viruses, other leukocytes, such as macrophages, instruct helper T cells to produce antibodies to lymphocyte B cells, and killer T cells to kill already infected cells. Killer T cells are instructed to kill already infected cells. When the sequence of events is complete and antigens are reduced, the suppressor T cells of the lymphocytes take control of the immune system and the attack is over.

I am very grateful for this opportunity to review what I studied when I was a student.
