皆さん、こんにちはLFC代表のカワミツ です。最近はすっかり寒くなり冬本番の感覚ですが、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？

今日はブログの内容は韓国人のカイロプラクターにお越し頂いた内容です。

キムさんはカイロプラクティックのお仕事を約35年ほど続けているといいます。韓国では日本と同様にカイロプラクティックが法制化されておらず保険がききません。そういう訳で私と同じ環境で仕事をしているという事で、同じ悩みに同情する事が出来ました。

施術時には彼の息子さんが英語で通訳をしてくれましたが、流暢な英語でしたので韓国の英語教育のレベルの高さを感じました。その施術の中でどこが痛いか、どこが気になるか等聞いているうちに「あなたの身体の分析の仕方は素晴らしいね！」とコメントしてくれましたが、その事を私に伝えた後に彼自身もカイロプラクターだと打ち明けてくれました。

彼は時々セミナーを開催したり、既にカイロプラクティックを学ぶ生徒を抱えていると言っていました。

帰り際に彼の名刺をもらいましたが、もし自分が韓国を訪れた際には彼のクリニックを訪問する事を約束して見送りました。韓日の両国に1日も早くカイロプラクティックに保険が適応し、もっともっと多くの方々に普及する事を願うばかりです。

Today’s blog is about a visit from a Korean chiropractor.

Kim-san has been working as a chiropractor for about 35 years. Like in Japan, chiropractic is not legalized in Korea, and is not covered by insurance. So, working in the same environment as me, he was able to sympathize with my concerns.

During the treatment, his son translated in English, and his fluent English really highlighted the high level of English education in Korea. While asking me about pain and concerns during the treatment, he commented, “Your way of analyzing the body is amazing!” After telling me this, he confessed that he was also a chiropractor.

He told me that he occasionally would hold seminars and already had students studying chiropractic.

I received his business card on my way out, and promised to visit his clinic if I ever visit Korea. I hope that chiropractic will be covered by insurance in both Korea and Japan as soon as possible, and that it will become more widely available.
