Hello everyone, this is Life Force Chiropractic! 🎶
The other day, our 1-year-and-1-month-old female cat, Gater, met for the first time with Dawson and Austin—a pair of siblings who are very close friends and regular clients at our clinic!! Gater is usually full of energy, very curious, and quite a handful—she runs around the house full of energy with our cat, King—but she was acting differently that day. When the two of them, having finished their session, gently approached Gater, she barked at them as if to say, “Who are these people?” But even so, they weren’t scared at all and kept talking to her gently. Maybe her nerves finally calmed down, because she eventually let them pick her up!! At first, he was stiff and looked at us as if to say, “Help me?” but little by little, he stopped struggling and did his best! Dawson was cautious, while Austin seemed delighted, and their kindness really reached Gater, bringing a calm expression to his face 🎶 It was so heartwarming to see Austin holding onto the leash!! By the end, there was even a moment where Gater followed the two of them—it was a short time, but it felt like we’d closed the distance a little. It was a nerve-wracking time for Gater, who’s usually quite a handful, but I feel like this was a wonderful first step with his new friends, Dawson and Austin! What really stood out was how both Dawson and Austin interacted with Gater while being mindful of his feelings! They didn’t suddenly raise their voices or try to pick him up forcefully—they matched Gater’s pace!! Thanks to that, I think Gater was able to relax and enjoy himself 🎶 It was so heartwarming to see the children and the dog connecting with each other 🎶 I think by the time we meet again, they’ll be able to play together even better! Thank you, Dawson and Austin 🎶
