Here in Okinawa, there are still lingering traces of summer and it is still very hot and sunny during the daytime, and you can see people enjoying swimming at the beach! However, the mornings and evenings are gradually getting cooler and I feel like I am starting to feel autumn!

The other day, the Carroll family, who had been coming to our salon for the past 5 years, came for their last appointment as they were going back to the United States. The first time they came to our salon was when their youngest son, Levi, was a baby, and they had back pain from raising four children. I have so many memories especially with my children, and I get teary-eyed when I think back on them! My oldest daughter, Savannah, my oldest son, William, my second son, Jack, and my third son, Levi! It is impressive to see how the children have grown over the five years of our long relationship! In the beginning, the brothers fought with each other and cried a lot and got angry, but then the youngest son, Levi, was afraid of back surgery, and the brothers surrounded him and said, "It's okay! It's okay! The four of them were always so energetic and brightened up our store! At my last appointment, Savannah wrote me a letter that made me so happy that I cried while reading it! I thought of myself as an aunt to the four of them, so I will miss them very much, but I wish the Carroll family a wonderful new life in the U.S. I hope you will come back to Okinawa again!
